Debsy’s story began in 1920 in Daher El-Mghara, Lebanon, when Najib Dagher started crafting rich carob molasses using traditional handmade methods. What started as a family tradition was passed down through generations, growing into a passion for creating natural and healthy products inspired by Lebanese heritage. Years later, Georges Dagher transformed this legacy into innovation by creating the first carob-sweetened cookie that was vegan, sugar-free, and preservative-free — marking the birth of Debsy. Today, Debsy continues to blend tradition and creativity through a range of natural products made with pure carob molasses and wholesome ingredients.
