Intajouna
Founded in response to Lebanon’s agricultural challenges, Intajouna, also known as "Taa'awniyat Al-Mahabba," operates under Caritas Lebanon. It empowers local farmers by directly purchasing their raw materials, which boosts production and ensures sustainable incomes. This cooperative also promotes local consumption and collaborates with civil society organizations to market and resell their products, enhancing community development. All profits from Intajouna are channeled into charitable causes, supporting traditional food production and self-sufficiency, particularly in rural areas. These efforts are integral to Caritas Lebanon’s mission of fostering social development and community empowerment.
